Ahhhh, my sweet, sweet rosé. If you don’t like rosé, you are either lying or flat out wrong! This was the second wine my friends and I got to taste at Blu. We had already basically finished our snacks, so thankfully this wine tasted delicious on its own.
This rosé was a lot drier than the white wine we had previously tasted. I was not expecting it to be sweet, but I also thought it wouldn’t be as dry as it was. Don’t get me wrong, again, I LOVED this wine. Honestly, every single wine we tasted at Blu was so yummy!

With my first sniff and sip, I noticed some fresh fruit and berry essences coming through. It was very acidic in my mouth and gave me a real pucker feeling (those tannins were getting to me!) The description for this wine was “A beautiful, vibrant hue of pale pink Pinot Noir skins. The nose exudes fresh cut strawberries with lemon zest and orange tinges. The palate is laser focused with bright flavors of fresh strawberries and raspberries, with a pleasant structure of lively, clean acidity, There is an overall striking balance of fresh fruit and structure that begs to be paired with a variety of food, especially cheeses and charcuterie.”
I really feel like this description was 100% on point. Like I mentioned, I immediately noticed the fruity smells and flavors like the description stated. Of course, this wine is from the Oregon vineyards. It costs around $15, which is right around my budget. I will definitely be purchasing this bottle on my own time! Alright… now it is time for some Chardonnay!
Until next wine time!
